Big Ell in 2008

Wow, four months without a post. A new Big Ell record that won't be repeated, yes I said it, it won't be repeated. I have some valid excuses for my four month hiatus from the blog world. My first excuse is:
My new daughter, born September 22nd. I would post a newer picture but Mrs. Big Ell has a strict monopoly on Ulrich 2.0 digital imagery.

My second excuse is:

Ganked from Britannica.com

My soon to be new old home town, Cowtown. After 10 years in Taiwan it is time to leave to bigger and cleaner places. I have been battling bureaucracy, fear, movers, stupidity, in-laws and inertia but now can't wait to leave. I am hoping to post some whimsical articles about time spent in Taiwan before I leave but I have over 10 bottles of hard liquor so it will be hard to avoid maudlin commentary. That is if I post anything at all, who knows at this point, not me.

It has been 15 years since I last rocked in Alberta and I probably won't be doing too much rocking with a wife and two daughters. I also hear there are jobs in Calgary . A job would be nice so i don't need to become a male gigolo to pay the bills. I am quite certain the market for overweight, balding gigolos is quite small but who really knows, eh? Anyway, Big Ell is back!

You mentioned you were dealing with movers. Are you using a container shipping company? If so, which one and how high have they scored on the Big Ell Satisfaction Meter?
